A recent study from John Hsu MD has found a gap in the Medicare Prescription Drugs Program that has failed many individuals living in the United States. Individuals who are currently under the Medicare program are forced to sign to different prescription drug plans as part of a new reimbursement plan for insurance companies. This has not only failed for insurance companies but also for the low income recipients who are on it.
The recent study has found that the effects on the elderly who are unable to pay for medication have been hugely effected by the program. From this study, patients are advised to remove themselves off the program and seek further medical advice by your local GP.
